The Charter Sales Associate will be an entry-level sales position that has a direct pathway to a Director of Charter Sales role, 12-18 months post-hiring. The Charter Sales Associate will be an all-encompassing charter team member working in all team roles as they build up their knowledge base, working toward a Director of Charter Sales role. This individual will learn the ins and outs of retail charter, wholesale charter, charter services, operations, customer service, accounting, and any other departments as determined by the VP of Charter Sales. This role will develop over a 12-18-month period, and roles and duties will shift as they reach their eventual transition to a Director of Charter Sales. A final promotion to a Director of Charter Sales is not guaranteed. Candidates will be required to have flexible working schedules and hours. This position will require you to work in the Corporate Headquarters office located in Overland Park, KS. This is not a remote or hybrid role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Work to support all charter sales departments and work assigned shifts within them
  • Cover as On-Call backup for all charter departments assigned
  • Manage trip bookings and trip sourcing as requested
  • Coordinate supplemental lift aircraft for Airshare's fractional ownership fleet
  • On-call and flexible working schedules. Shifts may cover all days of the week.
  • Additional responsibilities as required

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree, a strong work ethic, and a desire to work in a highly competitive sales environment. Must be open to travel and flexible schedules that will include non-normal working hours, weekends, and holidays.
