Job Overview
We are seeking two compassionate, attentive, and experienced live-in caregivers to provide dedicated, round-the-clock care for an elderly Indian husband and wife in a comfortable home setting.
This opportunity is ideal for caregivers who are reliable, patient, and respectful, with a strong commitment to preserving the couple’s comfort, safety, and dignity. The selected candidates will work collaboratively to ensure consistent, high-quality care while maintaining a supportive and peaceful environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and support the overall health and well-being of both individuals
  • Provide medication reminders as needed
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
  • Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Assist with light household duties related to caregiving
  • Respond promptly to needs and proactively ensure safety at all times
  • Coordinate with the second caregiver to maintain seamless care coverage
Required Qualifications
  • Must currently reside in Chicago, IL
  • Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a live-in arrangement
  • Dependable, attentive, and compassionate demeanor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Respectful understanding of cultural sensitivity, particularly Indian traditions and values
Preferred Qualifications (Plus Factors)
  • Ability to cook Indian cuisine
  • Ability to speak or understand a North Indian language (e.g., Hindi, Punjabi, etc.)
  • Previous experience caring for elderly couples
