They act as a bridge between the company's product teams and its channel partners, providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and pre-sales support. Their role often includes training partners, assisting with complex sales opportunities, and ensuring that partners can effectively sell and support the company's products. They play a critical role in expanding the reach of a company's solutions through trusted third parties.

Channel Sales Director (Strategic Partnerships & Distribution)

Loop Financial, Inc.

El Segundo, CA • On-site

$90K - $110K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 11 days ago

Job description

Loop is a Top 5 EV charging company on a mission to make charging more reliable, accessible, and scalable. Since launching in 2019, we've deployed thousands of chargers nationwide and have built a strong portfolio across multifamily, retail, office, hospitality, and municipal customers.
Backed by leading investors (Fifth Wall and Agility) and operating at a critical inflection point, we're not just building chargers, we're building the infrastructure layer powering the next generation of transportation.
We are looking for a Channel Sales Director to build and scale strategic partnerships that drive distribution and long-term revenue growth. This is not a traditional sales role. You will be responsible for creating repeatable, scalable channels, not just closing individual deals.
You'll work directly with leadership to identify, structure, and execute partnerships across real estate, development, architecture, and energy ecosystems that position Loop as the preferred EV charging partner.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and own Loop's channel and partnership strategy across key verticals (multifamily, developers, retail, hospitality, and more)
  • Identify and secure high-impact partnerships that unlock new distribution channels
  • Structure and negotiate complex, multi-stakeholder agreements
  • Develop preferred vendor relationships with developers, property owners, and design firms
  • Create scalable programs that drive repeatable deal flow
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure successful execution and expansion
  • Represent Loop in the market as a strategic partner, not just a vendor

Requirements:
  • 7-12+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development
  • Experience building distribution channels, not just closing deals
  • Background in EV charging, energy, infrastructure, or adjacent industries strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to navigate long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working with real estate developers, multifamily, or enterprise partnerships
  • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to structure creative, win-win partnerships
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with real ownership

Why Join Loop?
  • True ownership and the ability to build something from the ground up
  • Direct access to leadership and real impact on company growth
  • A product and platform positioned to win in a rapidly expanding market
  • The opportunity to define how EV infrastructure is deployed at scale
  • A team of builders who understand the real challenges of EV charging and are focused on solving them at scale.

Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 base salary plus commission and equity opportunity.
If you're someone who sees partnerships as a growth engine, not just a support function, and want to build something meaningful in a high-growth space, apply today!
