• Develop differentiated, tiered merchandising approaches based on customer needs, channel opportunities, brand priorities, and investment levels.
• Translate brand positioning, product innovation, and customer insights into compelling product presentations.
• Analyze market trends, trade customer and influencer behavior, competitive activity, partner requirements, and performance data to inform merchandising decisions.
• Identify opportunities to increase product visibility, specification, conversion, and sales throughout the trade channel.
Drive Go-to-Market Excellence
• Develop merchandising plans aligned with Trade go-to-market, channel, brand, and product-launch strategies.
• Partner with channel management, channel marketing, brand, product, and sales teams to deliver integrated merchandising programs.
• Ensure priority launches and commercial initiatives are supported by effective merchandising across the wholesale marketplace.
• Make informed trade-offs across brands, segments, customers, timing, and investment priorities.
• Establish standards and performance measures to evaluate merchandising quality, consistency, effectiveness, and return on investment.
Lead Showroom and Wholesale Merchandising
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of merchandising displays across showrooms and other trade customer environments.
• Ensure product displays are compelling, customer-focused, and aligned with brand standards and commercial objectives.
• Partner with field sales, sales agencies, customers, and external vendors to execute tiered merchandising strategies consistently across locations.
• Balance enterprise standards with the distinct needs of individual brands, customers, segments, and showroom environments.
• Monitor merchandising performance and recommend improvements to strengthen engagement, display productivity, and business results.
Lead Cross-Functional Trade Execution
• Serve as the Trade organization's merchandising leader and primary point of connection across sales, channel marketing, brand, product, and agency teams.
• Develop a strong understanding of product features, benefits, positioning, and target audiences to guide merchandising solutions.
• Build alignment around merchandising priorities, investment decisions, execution requirements, and measures of success.
• Equip field sales and agency teams with the tools, standards, and guidance needed to execute programs effectively.
• Influence stakeholders across the organization to deliver a cohesive brand and customer experience throughout the trade channel.
Manage Vendors, Budgets, and Execution
• Lead relationships with external display, fixture, signage, and merchandising partners.
• Oversee the development and production of displays, fixtures, signage, and supporting merchandising materials.
• Negotiate contracts and manage merchandising budgets to achieve quality, timing, and cost objectives.
• Establish clear expectations, service levels, and performance standards for vendor partners.
• Ensure merchandising materials meet brand, quality, operational, and delivery requirements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, business, design, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in trade merchandising, channel marketing, shopper marketing, customer experience, or a related commercial discipline.
• Experience developing merchandising strategies within wholesale, showroom, dealer, distributor, or other B2B channel environments.

• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to drive execution across multiple brands, segments, customers, and locations.
• Experience managing external agencies or vendors, production timelines, contracts, and budgets.
