Job description

NetGain Technologies, a leading managed IT services provider based in Lexington, Kentucky, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance and accounting functions. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and long-term growth.
NetGain is part of Lyra Technology Group, a family of independently operated technology service businesses backed by Evergreen Services Group. While we benefit from the strategic support of Lyra, NetGain retains the culture, name, and team that have made us successful.
This is a hybrid role based in Lexington, KY.
What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Lead and manage NetGainโ€™s finance and accounting initiatives, including budgeting, audits, and month-end close processes, in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations: General Ledger, AR/AP, Payroll, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Collections, Reconciliations, and Sales amp; Use Tax.
  • Drive improvements in accounting systems, processes, and reporting to support business goals and special projects.
  • Maintain and enhance financial SOPs, identifying opportunities for efficiency and scalability.
  • Own financial reporting for internal leadership, corporate stakeholders, and peer benchmarking.
  • Play a hands-on role in customer billing, pricing updates, and incentive/commission structures.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for key external relationships including banks, landlords, vendors, and suppliers.
Who You Are:
You are a self-motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented finance leader who thrives in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. Youโ€™re comfortable rolling up your sleeves and working cross-functionally, and you bring a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP. Experience in the MSP space is a plus. Experience with Great Plains and Business Central is a plus, along with knowledge around ConnectWise.
