CEVA Logistics | CDL A Local Dry Van Driver/Yard Hostler | Seattle, WA.

CEVA Logistics is hiring a CDL A Local Driver/Yard Hostler in Seattle, WA.

Monday – Friday. This freight is touch and delivered in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements. 


Home Daily | Weekends Off


Compensation:

  • Pay Hourly rate: $30.00
  • OT pay after 40 hours
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

  • Home Daily
  • Shift: 7am to 16:30 with flexibilty
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday,
  • Touch Freight some drop and hook

Equipment

  • Newer fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, full maintenance support, safety features and electronic logs
  • Automatic Transmission
  • Speed governed at 65 mph
  • Inward and outward facing events triggered cameras
  • Slip seating 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must know how to drive a forklift
  • Must be flexible to drive Tractor/Yard Mule/Forklift
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 years industry driving experience
  • Must have valid CDL A License
  • Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL A driving experience
  • Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years 
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years
  • No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 45 miles of Seattle, WA
