Description
BDR Solutions, LLC, (BDR) supports the U.S. Federal Government in successfully achieving its mission and goals. Our service and solution delivery starts with understanding each client's end-state, and then seamlessly integrating within each Agency's organization to improve and enhance business and technical operations and deployments.
BDR is seeking a Technical Trainer to join our growing team! This is a hybrid position that will be performed on-site in Washington, DC. This position requires US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance.

Role Overview
The Technical Trainer shall include developing and deploying training plans that address the needs of all Division users as well as developing reports that include the number and types of training classes delivered, quantity of students attending each class, and the names of the trainers who delivered the training.
Responsibilities
  • Capture and report results of training evaluations
  • Function as the Administrator, recording learning, adding and scheduling courses, and running reports
  • Creating and maintaining a training calendar distributed to all Division users, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs in order to provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Training for new software/hardware may also need monitoring and reporting for special projects.
  • Training curriculums created shall be approved and accommodations for users requiring special needs addressed.

Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3 years work experience in training and development, instructional design, teaching, technical writing or related work
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and present a technical subject matter in an understandable, coherent manner
  • Ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures, informative documentation, training guides, customer assistance "How To " scripts, product usage guidelines, packaged (or "canned ") communications.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of training materials prior to distribution
  • Be a strong team player with a "can do " attitude, and adaptable to different training approaches.
  • Knowledge and experience in Section 508 compliance standards

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Four years or more of experience answering high volume help desk technical calls
  • ITIL Foundations certifications
  • PMP or equivalent certification

The compensation range for this position is $60,000-85,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
