Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate Project Management/ Project Management professional to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This position will be located in Edwards AFB, CA.

As the selected candidate you will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects. This position will require the performance of advanced project management tasks from inception to close-out, and continuous management of the system for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Translating complex business questions into actionable data insights and visualizations will support pivotal decision-making
  • In this role the selected candidate will demonstrate the skill and ability to perform tasks using continuous problem-solving techniques and be able to lead through, overcome and adapt to obstacles and challenges; dealing effectively with change and challenges and helping others to do the same Additionally, the selected candidate will learn to enhance process performance and standardization while driving cost control and resource management by utilizing leadership and team building techniques.
  • This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of products through our advanced flight test facilities. This position is 100% on-site at Edwards AFB, CA. Due to the dynamic environment of flight test, occasional overtime and off-shift work (nights/weekends) may be required.

Basic Qualifications for Associate Project Management:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 0 years of related professional/military experience.
  • Must have an active US Government Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Project (scheduling), Microsoft Excel (pivot tables), and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with statistics, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and visualization
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $94,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
