Pay Range: $35hr - $44hr
- The ideal candidate will support transportation infrastructure projects through project controls, cost analysis, budgeting, invoicing, funding management, and schedule coordination while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Experience in project controls, cost control, or transportation project support.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, invoicing, cost analysis, and project scheduling.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, advanced Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Understanding of transportation funding sources and programming requirements.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and support audit readiness.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 6 years of relevant experience, OR
- 10 years of Project Controls or cost-related experience in lieu of degree.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process invoices, reimbursement requests, and supporting documentation for transportation projects.
- Coordinate Independent Cost Estimates (ICE) and conduct bid analysis activities.
- Support project reviews, cost analysis, and budget tracking for capital projects.
- Maintain project funding databases, schedules, and audit-ready records.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and funding allocations.
- Assist with federal and state grant funding administration and compliance.
- Prepare technical reports, project analyses, and funding documentation.
- Maintain construction bid databases and support cost estimating activities.
- Track project risks, cost impacts, and schedule deviations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders regarding project costs, schedules, and reporting requirements.
Should Have:
- Knowledge of Caltrans and/or FTA procedures and processes preferred.
- Experience with engineering and construction management processes.
- Familiarity with financial reporting systems and controller account codes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualification And Education:
