Overview

For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.

Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, assess, plan and implement the patient care requirements and treatment necessary for cardiopulmonary bypass/assistance before, during and after surgery.
  • Sets up and operates the heart/lung machine.
  • Consults with Physicians and selects appropriate equipment.
  • Performs related duties as required.

SCHEDULE: 6:30 AM-3 PM. This is a Temporary / Per Diem role.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited NYS college with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree with a major in perfusion technology or graduation from a NYS accredited certificate program in perfusion technology required.
  • Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion is required.
  • BLS is required.
