Pelvic health refers to the well-being of the muscles, ligaments, and organs in the pelvic region, which includes the bladder, reproductive organs, and rectum. A pelvic health specialist, often a physical therapist or healthcare provider, assesses, diagnoses, and treats conditions related to pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other dysfunctions. They work with patients of all genders and ages to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life through targeted therapies, exercises, and education.
