Completing a certificate program can open up new career paths or help you advance in your current field, especially if you are looking to gain practical, job-ready skills in a shorter timeframe than a traditional degree. Certificate programs can also serve as a stepping stone to higher-level positions or additional credentials, and they often provide networking opportunities with industry professionals and fellow students. While they may not replace a degree for all roles, certificates are highly regarded in industries where up-to-date technical skills are essential.
