Job description


The dispatcher schedules, coordinates, dispatches, and monitors Badger units within a defined region following national processes and procedures. This role requires the flexibility to work nights and weekends.
The base salary for this role will range between $65,000 to $85,000 based on education and/or experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Manages dispatch calendar (Google calendar, etc.)
  • Manages daily dispatch activities (availability and time approval by Branch Manager (BM), dispatching closest trucks, etc.)
  • Converts opportunities to sales requests (SR) and confirms with owner (Outside Sales Representative (OSR), General Manager (GM), or Branch Manager (BM)
  • Answers central dispatch phone line in a timely and professionally
  • Processes requests from existing (standard) customers

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
  • Education: high school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years dispatch experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition
  • Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes, and personnel
  • Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties, Oracle Field Operations module preferred
