Summary:
The Central Dispatch Manager provides leadership and direction for ADM Trucking's centralized dispatch operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of bulk commodities. This role manages daily dispatch activities, coordinates drivers and equipment, and supports ADM's commitment to safety, service excellence, and operational integrity.
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the central dispatch team responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring all ADM Trucking movements.
  • Ensure all loads are assigned efficiently to meet customer and plant requirements while optimizing fleet utilization.
  • Maintain strong communication with drivers, plant personnel, and logistics teams to resolve issues and ensure ontime performance.
  • Uphold ADM's safety culture by ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, ADM policies, and all applicable transportation standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, safety, and operations to minimize downtime and maintain equipment readiness.
  • Analyze dispatch and performance data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain dispatch procedures, driver communication standards, and performance metrics.
  • Support driver engagement and retention through consistent communication and problemsolving.
  • Participate in planning for seasonal demand, equipment allocation, and capacity forecasting.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics dispatch.
  • Supervisory or teamlead experience in a dispatch or operations environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and transportation compliance.
  • Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), ELD, and GPS tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, servicedriven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis/reporting tools.
