Job Summary:

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking emergency medicine physician(s) for our Level II Trauma Center in Independence, Missouri. You will have the opportunity to pick up shifts at our main emergency department and new FSER opening in September of 2025. There will also be opportunity for those interested in teaching as our new emergency medicine residency program launches in 2026!
Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
  • 60-hours physician coverage daily; 10-hour shifts
  • 58 hours of APP Coverage Monday- Friday
  • 48 hours APP coverage Saturday- Sundayย 
  • 65,000 annual emergency medicineย visits in a 42-bed, Level II Trauma Center.
  • Rapid Care Unit open 24/7
  • ACLS, ATLS & PALS required.
  • Ability to obtain Missouri medical licensure
