How you'll contributeย 

Aย Cat Scan (CT) Technicianย who excels in this role:

  • Provides computed tomography (CT) imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

  • Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
  • Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
  • Monitors patient condition and responds to changes appropriately.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies; implements safety standards and performs quality control checks.
  • Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions.
  • Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
  • Analyzes imaging results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures if needed.
  • Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking forย 
Applicants should have a two-year certification. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Two-year certificate, Associate's degree, or Baccalaureate degree.

  • License: /Certifications: Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology and Computed Tomography; BLS required.
