Job description

Job Title: Reinsurance Business Analyst NO C2C W2 ONLY Location: Cincinnati Ohio Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $55hr W2 flexible for exp Work Model: Remote – offsite Hours: 40.0 Security Clearance:

Overview W2 ONLY CONTRACT NO C2C, NO sponsorship Now or in the Future. Reinsurance Experience MANDATORY. WILL NOT LOOK AT PROFILES THAT LACK P&C INSURANCE INDUSTRY. Experience within Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, including underwriting, claims, and policy lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support a 6-month CONTRACT-TO-HIRE opportunity working 100% REMOTE with System One.
  • Engage in the full lifecycle of business analysis activities within the insurance reinsurance domain.
  • Capture, analyze, and document comprehensive business and user requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings with IT and business unit management and staff to gather insights.
  • Understand the business domain, including processes, systems, data, and their linkages.
  • Create project deliverables and support the execution of project plans.
  • Perform or lead business process analysis for requirement identification.
  • Partner with testing teams and assist in testing strategy formulation and execution.
  • Participate actively throughout all project phases ensuring requirements are understood and met.
  • Define or redefine business needs for new or improved products, services, or processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders; consult to understand goals.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience.
  • Experience within Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, including underwriting, claims, and policy lifecycle.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.
  • Strong experience with Agile and/or hybrid delivery approaches.
  • IIBA certification(s) such as CBAP or CCBA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, and regulatory considerations in insurance.
  • Exposure to digital transformation initiatives, customer portals, or data analytics.
