CCAR stands for Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery, which developed a widely recognized recovery coach training program. Recovery coaches work in various settings, including treatment centers, hospitals, and community organizations, offering encouragement, resources, and connections to recovery support networks.

How does a CCAR Recovery Coach typically collaborate with other members of the recovery support team?

CCAR Recovery Coaches work closely with a range of professionals, including counselors, social workers, and healthcare providers, to support individuals in recovery. They often serve as a bridge between clients and formal treatment services, ensuring clients have access to necessary resources and community supports.
