Job description

Job Title: Catholic Religious Education (RE) Coordinator
Location: Los Angeles AFB, El Segundo, CA
Position Summary:
The Catholic RE Coordinator plans, administers, and teaches the Catholic Religious Education Program for children and youth (Pre-K through 12th grade) at Los Angeles AFB. Services are delivered in accordance with Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) guidance and under the supervision of the Contract Catholic Priest.
Key Duties:
  • Teach weekly Sunday Catholic RE classes.
  • Provide sacramental preparation (First Reconciliation, Confirmation).
  • Coordinate curriculum, volunteers, youth ministry, and annual VBS.
  • Maintain student records, reports, calendar, and budget submissions.
  • Recruit and train volunteers; conduct monthly training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with background checks and AMS Safe Environment requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Confirmed Roman Catholic in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years of Catholic religious education experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED (minimum).
  • Ability to pass background investigation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
