General Job Description The primary function of the Warehouse Associate is to support the supply chain operations by collecting, loading, shipping, receiving, and storing warehouse products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating material-handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing loading and staging processes for efficient logistics, and supporting overall warehouse operations to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the business. Duties and Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.Use wireless RF scanning equipment to accurately track and manage inventory.Ship, Receive, Load, Unload, stage, inspect, label and store incoming products and materials.Pick, pack, wrap, label, and stage customer orders for shipment.Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling of products and notify the management for any incoming/outgoing overages, shortages and damages as per process.Adhere to company quality standards and customer service expectations.Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as required for Raw Material, Packaging Finished Goods, Labels and Work in process inventory.Inspect forklifts and other warehouse equipment daily and perform basic maintenance checks.Consolidate partial pallets and organize inventory to maximize warehouse space utilization using RF scanners.Palletize material or parts as per requirement.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Identify and report safety hazards, damaged products, and equipment issues.Follow all company policies, warehouse procedures, and OSHA safety regulations. Associates will participate in cross-training across various warehouse and operational functions and may be assigned to different roles on a rotational basis or as business needs require. Provide support for warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and other logistics operations as needed to ensure efficient workflow and business continuity. Qualifications Education - High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience operating powered forklift and scissors lifts.Current or previous forklift certification preferred.Experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments preferred. Key Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Knowledge of forklifts, pallet jacks, and various material-handling equipment.Proficiency in basic mathematics and inventory counting practices.Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety procedures.Ability to accurately use RF scanners and warehouse management systems.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Dependable, punctual, and able to meet productivity expectations.High regard for workplace safety and operational excellence.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
