YourOnlineMarketplace, Inc. (YOM) is a small business with 16 employees located in East Aurora, NY that sells music and video collections through online marketplaces.  At YOM, we pride ourselves on offering a creative and flexible culture and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Job Summary
Working collaboratively as part of YOM’s Catalog Team, the E-Commerce Catalog Specialist will make purchasing, product placement and pricing decisions for a diverse range of products in YOM’s media catalog. As an E-Commerce Catalog Specialist, you will receive training in our proprietary software system. You will also receive continued guidance from department staff and our General Manager as you move forward in your learning and career here at YOM.  

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct product research in a real-time environment with the goal of providing value to YOM’s customers and maximizing YOM’s profit margins;
  • Determine product stocking levels based on current market trends, supplier costs and limitations, and other market conditions;
  • Create work queues for the shipping team to ensure optimal quantities of saleable inventory in marketplace fulfillment centers;
  • Assist the General Manager with daily assignments as well as special projects
Qualifications: 
  • Experience using inventory management systems and e-commerce software including but not limited to: Amazon, eBay or Walmart is preferred, at least 1-3 years of experience in a related field is desired
  • Knowledge of using various software applications to track performance metrics 
  • Proficiency in data analysis to drive sales goals, or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Details:
This is a Full-Time, in office position, with weekly hours ranging from 35 to 40 hours per week. Shifts will be Monday through Friday. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $23 an hour depending on experience. Training will be provided to ensure your comfort and success. The training schedule will include reduced hours to support acclimating you into your position and environment.
