What is a cash operations associate?

Cash Operations Associates are financial professionals responsible for managing and processing cash transactions within an organization, such as deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations. They ensure the accurate and timely recording of cash movements and help maintain the integrity of financial records. Their duties often include monitoring cash flows, resolving discrepancies, and supporting other finance or treasury functions. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with financial systems are essential for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a cash operations associate?

To thrive as a Cash Operations Associate, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a background in finance, accounting, or business administration. Familiarity with banking software, reconciliation tools, and Microsoft Excel is typically required, and some employers may prefer candidates with certifications like the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication set top performers apart in this role. These skills are crucial for ensuring accurate financial transactions, minimizing errors, and supporting the smooth operation of cash management processes.

Classification

Full-time

Role Type

Individual contributor — service, implementation, and execution specialist

Stone Arch Advisory Group is searching for an Operations Associate to join our team. This seat is where advice becomes action. Every recommendation our advisors and planners make — a new policy, a new investment account, contributions/distributions/conversions— moves through Operations before a client ever sees it completed. The person in this role owns that execution and makes sure it happens accurately, compliantly, and on time.

This is a client-facing service role, not a back-office one. You will interact directly with clients on account and policy servicing, coordinate with home office and carrier partners, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with Client Experience Managers, Investment and Planning teams, Partners, Advisors, and Executive team.

The work is detailed and deadline-driven, and it is highly visible: our clients tell us we are the most comprehensive firm they work with, and operations is one of the primary reasons that is true.

We're looking for a proactive self-starter who takes ownership, removes roadblocks, and drives work forward rather than waiting for direction. This individual will appreciate working in a fast-paced environment; with a great culture and a great group of colleagues.

OUR TEAM IS AWARD WINNING
