Position Summary

Focus Partners Wealth is seeking Operations Associates that will serve as a key members of the Core Operations team and support essential back-office functions that ensure accurate and timely handling of client requests. This role provides additional capacity for the team by verifying and completing pending work, assisting with team projects, and maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities fluctuate with seasonal volumes, market conditions, and team coverage needs, so flexibility and adaptability are critical. Occasional overtime may be required.

Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model is defined as 3 days in office work required per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 days per week, or as assigned by their team leader.

Primary Responsibilities

Validate and reconcile monetary transactions on custodial platforms (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity).

Monitor, track, and provide timely updates on processing requests to ensure accuracy and completion.

Support digital signature processes, account setup and validation, and assist the client service team with processing mailed checks and paperwork as needed.

Monitor custodian alerts and escalate or distribute updates as appropriate.

Maintain accurate and timely data entry across core systems, including Salesforce and Orion.

Communicate effectively with colleagues, custodians, and internal partners through clear written and verbal channels.

Collaborate across departments to achieve shared objectives and contribute to team initiatives.

Share knowledge, best practices, and insights to enhance team effectiveness.

Assist with team projects and daily operational responsibilities as needed.

Demonstrate adaptability, initiative, and a proactive approach to changing priorities.

Consistently model the firm's core values through actions and communication.

Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

ย Bachelor's Degree (expected graduation date by June 2026) OR High School Diploma and 2+ years of relevant Client Service or Customer Service

Ability to work and commute out of our Clayton, MO office

Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.

Experience in the service or financial services industry preferred

High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and client information

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity) and CRM/financial systems (e.g., Salesforce, Orion, DocuSign, Envestnet) preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of Windows operating systems

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills

Self-starter with initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance standards

This position is a non-exempt position. The annualized base pay for this role is expected to be $50,000. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
