Job description

Cartus is a global relocation company. We help Fortune 500 businesses relocate employees and their families. Cartus supports clients in over 190 countries.


One of the many relocation services we provide is language training. Currently we have a need for an experienced English Second Language (ESL) teacher to deliver in-person lessons to one child in Walnut Creek, CA, USA.


There is the potential for you to receive additional assignments.


Learner's details:


1 child - 6 y/o

Current level of English: Beginner

Format of lessons: In-Person

Location: Walnut Creek CA, 94596

Frequency of lessons: 2x or 3x per week

Learners' availability: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 08:00 am and 4:00 pm

Start Date: ASAP – July 2026


Required Skillset:


  • Minimum 2 years of language teaching experience
  • Experience teaching children in a one-on-one setting
  • Ability to customize content to meet learner's needs
  • Skilled in sourcing and utilizing authentic materials


Hourly rate: 36 - 40 USD
