Job description

Cartus is a global relocation company supporting Fortune 500 organizations with the relocation of employees and their families. We operate in over 190 countries worldwide and are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, building partnerships that reflect and support the communities we serve.

One of the many services Cartus provides is language training. We are currently seeking an experienced English language trainer to deliver in‐person English lessons to an adult learner and to two children based in Bakersfield, California.

Learners details:

Learner 1

  • Adult learner
  • Current English level: Pre‐intermediate
  • Lesson format: Individual, in‐person
  • Location: Bakersfield, CA, 91311
  • Learning goals: Conversational English, Day‐to‐day communication for everyday life
  • Lesson frequency: 5x per week x 1.5h of lessons
  • Availability: Monday–Friday, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
  • Start date: ASAP / June 2026

Learner 2:

  • Child (8 y/o)
  • Current English level: Beginner
  • Lesson format: Individual, in‐person
  • Location: Bakersfield, CA, 93311
  • Learning goals: Language support for schoolwork / Socializing & making friends
