Job description


Job Title: Director, Business Development - Sales (Northeast US & Canada Territory)
Overview
We're seeking a motivated and results-driven sales professional with proven experience in the relocation industry. This is a remote position responsible for driving new business across the Northeast U.S. and Canada territory, with moderate travel requirements (20-30%).
The ideal candidate will reside in the US Northeast territory. Territory: PA, DE, NJ, CT, MA, NH, ME- includes Canada Northeast part of the United States DE, to Maine and includes PA.
Responsibilities
  • Territory Strategy & Prospecting: Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and engage prospective clients within the assigned region.
  • Lead Nurturing: Build strong relationships with prospects, assess business fit, and guide them through the sales cycle.
  • Pricing & Profitability: Create competitive pricing strategies that align with company profitability goals.
  • Proposal Development: Lead RFP responses in collaboration with technical writers and subject matter experts.
  • Sales Presentations: Participate in client presentations, coordinate dry runs, and communicate win strategies.
  • Contract Negotiation: Drive contract negotiations with support from the legal team.
  • Client Onboarding: Ensure a seamless transition by partnering with client services and implementation teams.
  • Special Projects: Manage strategic initiatives, trade conferences, and other projects as needed.

Leadership & Representation
  • Represent the Sales team at industry events and conferences, leveraging supplier relationships and hosting company-sponsored events.
  • Foster strong internal and external partnerships to deliver innovative solutions and exceed client expectations.

Qualifications
  • Ability to travel 20-30%.
  • Minimum 2 years of successful experience selling outsourced services to multinational companies.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets combined with proven experience in the relocation industry. Experience with a RMC preferred.
  • Strong presentation and networking skills (in-person and virtual).
  • Expertise in new business development and consultative selling, including crafting tailored value propositions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a robust pipeline, understanding client needs and pain points.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills.

The base pay range for this position is $100,000-$120,000 annually, with a target bonus of $60,000-$80,000 and uncapped bonus potential.
