Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Apprentice Carpenters for projects located in or around Lebanon, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-$27/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
  • Remove, repair, and replace drywall
  • Measure, cut, fit, and hang drywall
  • Patch damaged drywall and prepare surfaces for finishing
  • Remove damaged subflooring
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install new subflooring
  • Inspect and repair wood framing beneath damaged flooring
  • Replace damaged blocking, joists, and other wood components as needed
  • Perform basic wood framing and structural repairs
  • Measure and cut dimensional lumber and sheet goods
  • Install blocking, backing, and bracing
  • Use circular saws, reciprocating saws, drills, impact drivers, nail guns, and other common carpentry tools
  • Assist with demolition and removal of damaged materials
  • Handle materials and perform jobsite cleanup
  • Complete general residential carpentry and repair work

Requirements:
  • 1-3+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred
  • Experience with drywall, framing, subflooring, or general residential repairs
  • Comfortable measuring and cutting lumber and sheet materials
  • Familiarity with common carpentry hand and power tools
  • Must have basic hand tools and tool bags
  • Must be able to perform physical work and material handling
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have proper PPE and work boots
  • Must be dependable and ready to work
