Job description

CaroMont Health is hiring a Temporary Assignment Inpatient Radiologic Technologist to work Varied Shifts within our Imaging Services team at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC!

Radiologic Technologist Job Summary:

  • To perform diversified duties in Radiology, including preparation and positioning of patients, and operation of varied x-ray equipment in radiological and fluoroscopic procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Two-year degree from an accredited radiology school program.

  • Must be registered by ARRT.

  • One (1) year of hospital radiography experience required; one year of traveling experience preferred.

  • Cannot be a FT or PT employee at CaroMont Health.

  • Ongoing participation in continuing education.

  • Must have good customer service skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of radiology testing procedures.

  • Considerable skill in performing various radiology procedures.

  • Considerable ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment/examinations are introduced into the department.

  • Current BLS certification required.
