Job description

CaroMont Health Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician Opportunity
Charlotte Metro Area | Belmont, North Carolina

CaroMont Health offers an outstanding opportunity for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care physician to join and help expand an established practice at a new multi-specialty medical outpatient pavilion and new hospital in Belmont, NC.

•    Opportunity to provide inpatient critical care and pulmonary services while also building an outpatient pulmonary practice
•    ICU admit with Pulmonary consultative service
•    Practice in a brand-new clinic setting
•    Access to advanced pulmonary procedures and technology, including robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS, and Zephyr Valve services
•    Strong multidisciplinary relationships with Cardiothoracic Surgeons offering minimally invasive surgical techniques, as well as colleagues in Hematology/Oncology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Respiratory Therapy, and other specialties
•    Broad variety of lung disease reflective of the area’s demographics
•    Incidental Lung Nodule Program
•    Lung Cancer Screening Program
•    Experienced inpatient APP support team

Schedule includes:
1.    A two-week period that includes seven consecutive 24-hour shifts, with 12 hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) on-site at CaroMont Regional Medical Center–Belmont and 12 hours on call, followed by seven consecutive non-working days.
During these seven consecutive 24-hour shifts, the physician will provide critical care and pulmonology services to patients at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont and provide clinic services at CaroMont Pulmonary Medicine-Belmont as needed.

2.    A two-week period consisting of at least 36 normally scheduled direct patient care hours per week, including clinic time and clinic on-call services, plus four hours of charting time credit per week.

3.    Call coverage is 1:4
