Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Kitchen Manager for our assisted living community! We are located in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, and minutes from its two vibrant and historic downtown districts!Calyx is looking to hire NOW a Kitchen Manager who will be responsible for creating an exceptional and memorable dining experience to our seniors. This position will be responsible for the coordination of staff schedules, managing the purchasing, preparing and serving of food, and leading all aspects of the dining department. Kitchen Manager Qualifications:Demonstrates a passion to work with the senior populationCook experience a must! Preferred 2 years or more of experienceExperience with managing teamsServeSafe CertificationUnderstanding of therapeutic dietsAbility to work 45-50 hours per week, weekends and a flexible work scheduleComputer skills in Microsoft OfficeIf you are creative with strong cooking and people skills, and are interested in being a Kitchen Manager for a brand new, contemporary assisted living community, please apply here!
