CARF Accreditation Specialist (Temporary)
Duration: July 1 - December 31
We are seeking an experienced CARF Specialist to support accreditation readiness, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives. This contract role will focus on implementing sustainable systems and processes aligned with CARF standards, with a strong emphasis on ASPIRE to Excellence® Section 1 and support for Employment & Community Services and/or Behavioral Health programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise on CARF standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Develop practical tools, templates, workflows, and tracking systems to support compliance.
  • Partner with leadership and program teams to integrate CARF standards into daily operations.
  • Support mock surveys, readiness activities, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Strengthen performance management and compliance systems across programs.

Qualifications
  • Experience as a CARF surveyor, accreditation consultant, or CARF compliance leader.
  • Strong knowledge of ASPIRE to Excellence® Section 1 standards.
  • Familiarity with Employment & Community Services and/or Behavioral Health manuals.
  • Experience designing and implementing quality improvement, compliance, or performance management systems.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

Schedule
Flexible, project-based contract assignment from July 1 through December 31.
