Position Summary
The Business Development Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral partners, clients, property managers, adjusters, and other decision-makers within assigned sales verticals. This role focuses on both generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and accounts.
This position combines sales, networking, relationship management, customer service, and account management responsibilities in a fast-paced and highly relationship-driven environment.
Sales & Marketing Responsibilities
  • Cold call and prospect potential clients to schedule meetings and develop relationships
  • Meet with prospective clients to present company services and solutions
  • Attend networking events, trade associations, community events, and business functions to build referral relationships
  • Travel throughout assigned geographic territory to maintain client relationships and identify new opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a strong referral network and book of business
  • Work with leadership to support territory-specific marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Create value-driven relationships focused on long-term partnerships rather than transactional sales
  • Maintain consistent sales activity and meet established KPI expectations

Relationship & Account Management Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and referral partners
  • Build trust and maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers
  • Make weekly contact with clients that have active jobs to ensure satisfaction and communication alignment
  • Maintain regular contact with prospective and inactive clients to generate future opportunities
  • Coordinate with Operations and Project Management teams regarding job progress and customer needs
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client concerns, questions, and service-related issues
  • Maintain a strong understanding of restoration industry processes and terminology

CRM & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Enter and maintain contact records, activity updates, and sales notes within CRM systems
  • Maintain accurate reporting and relationship tracking within the CRM platform
  • Update sales pipelines, relationship maturity tracking, and opportunity status
  • Assist with database audits and contact management initiatives
  • Utilize CRM dashboards and reporting tools to track sales activity and opportunities

  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Luxor CRM, Salesforce, or similar systems preferred
  • Existing community and networking involvement is a plus
