Job description

Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator. The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible to leadย the maintenance team to ensure the facility, grounds, and equipment are safe, functional, and visually appealing, while providing exceptional service to residents, visitors, and staff. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and document preventative maintenance programs.
  • Supervise and train maintenance and housekeeping staff.
  • Maintain interior and exterior areas, including apartments, offices, and grounds.
  • Prepare and refurbish apartments for move-ins (painting, flooring, ceiling fans).
  • Maintain and repair facility equipment; manage fire safety and emergency systems.
  • Inspect apartments for hazards and perform janitorial tasks as needed.
  • Transport residents in company vehicles; respond to emergencies as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or accredited maintenance training with relevant experience.
  • Applicable state boilers licensure or ability to obtain.
  • Strong interpersonal, computer, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, travel locally, and periodically overnight.
