The role of the Cardiology Specialist is to proactively sell and deliver results for Baxter Cardiology products in the acute/primary care market. These markets consist of hospitals, physician offices, urgent care offices, VA and DOD facilities, community health centers and additionally defined healthcare organizations. The goal is to generate opportunities with an emphasis on larger, strategic cardiology customers and/or EHR connected opportunities within an assigned territory. What you'll be doing:

  • Conveying the entire value proposition and solution of the entire Baxter portfolio to executives/managers from a clinical, admin, to IT perspective - triage to field sales Bardy, Welch Allyn, and Epiphany (inside sales) where needed.
  • Being the commercial leader in your region for cardiology growth. Providing strategic direction with management and participating in large IDN and corporate deal and day to day field activities will reside with the local representation.
  • Directly promoting, quoting, and negotiating Cardio Server new system sales deals. Working with the Cardiology leader for guidance, discount approvals, and enterprise agreements.
  • Developing a comprehensive business plan to grow sales of our complete portfolio of cardiology solutions with the Regional Managers to target strategic IDN's and customers.
  • Proactively targeting IDN and large cardiology practice customers that have not yet invested in our cardiology solutions. With the objectives to expand penetration for customers that have invested in a portion or none of our cardiology solutions.
  • Identifying and nurturing external relationships in cardiology to include C suite, managers, physicians, IT, and any other leader within the region. These relationships will be used to grow and sustain the Baxter Cardiology Brand.
  • Assuming lead sales role on large cardiology opportunities whether stand-alone or connected to ECG management systems and or EMR's. Partner and present with the Solution Architect on complex connected opportunities. Present and lead training sessions at regional and national sales meetings.
  • Accountable for an accurate monthly forecast including all opportunities, chance for success, sales dollars, close dates, and progress towards attaining quota.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Having experience with SAAS, connected environments, EMR, and capital sales is preferred.
  • Three to five years of successful sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of cardiology products and workflow is a plus.
  • Experience being a team player, acting with a sense of urgency, and ambition is a must.
  • Proven track record of establishing a business plan and successfully implementing that plan.

The estimated pay range for this position is $112,000 to $154,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
