VA Northern California Health Care System is seeking a Board?Certified/Board?Eligible Cardiologist to join our growing Cardiology Service at the Sacramento VA Medical Center in Mather, CA. This is an outstanding opportunity to deliver high?quality, mission?driven cardiovascular care in a collaborative environment without the administrative burdens of private-sector medicine.

Your Role
As a Cardiologist at VANCHCS, you will:

  • Provide outpatient cardiovascular care at the Sacramento VA Medical Center
  • Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other cardiology diagnostics (as credentialed)
  • Participate in inpatient consults and shared coverage across VANCHCS (as applicable)
  • Work closely with nursing, pharmacy, and specialty care colleagues in a team-based model
  • Support quality initiatives, program development, and process improvement

Ideal Candidate

  • MD or DO with Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
  • Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory
