Position Summary:
The Card Services Representative performs a variety of duties for credit and debit card services. The incumbent will conduct maintenance, adjustments, disputes, report monitoring, payment processing, credit reporting, payoffs, document archival and retrieval. The Card Services Representative provides exceptional service to members employees, via telephone and email.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Responsible for correspondence and communicating with members and employees over the telephone and email regarding card-related requests.
  • Responsible for processing internal and external requests for processing/refunding fees, adjustment of payments, card payoffs, and research.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliant credit card reporting to Credit Reporting Agencies.
  • Assists in monitoring various reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with Everwise policies.
  • Services consumer credit card accounts.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union.

Knowledge/Skills:
  • Transaction Reconciliation, highly accurate data entry skills and detail orientated in research are a necessity.
  • Excellent human relations, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize the workload.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience supporting credit card services, banking or financial services industry required.
  • Recent lending experience preferred.
