Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Capture Manager, Midwest Infrastructure to join our team! In this role you will get to provide pursuit, capture and project support services for the Midwest Area. This includes leading capture management, proposal development, graphics development, and supporting client growth strategies and other project/pursuit related activities.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Maintain good standing with the client submittal requirements for professional services RFP/RFQs (prequalification, financials, etc.).
  • Support pursuit strategies in partnership with operations, business development, proposal operations and management, leading proposal operation efforts as needed.
  • Collaborates with business development and regional leadership to develop collateral (e.g., fact sheets, leave behinds, client specific PowerPoint presentations) related to pre-positioning activities.
  • Perform detailed analysis of RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to assess requirements and develop compelling proposal narratives that demonstrate our value proposition.
  • Responsible for writing non-technical portions of the proposal (i.e., cover letters, executive summaries, project descriptions, resumes, team qualifications, various management plans, win themes and differentiators, etc.).
  • Facilitate proposal storyboarding sessions, strategic messaging, and creative writing for all levels of pursuits.
  • Facilitate proposal kick-off meeting and color reviews (pink, red, gold) to ensure we produce quality deliverables that differentiate us from our competitors and provide value to our clients.
  • Collaborate with our graphics team to establish templates and standards for proposal look and feel, writing style, and layout, ensuring we are compliant with Parsons branding guidelines.
  • Perform closeout activities ensuring lessons learned and debriefing process is initiated.
  • Establish a production schedule and resource plan to ensure all required proposal documents are produced properly and delivered on time.
  • Oversee client interview preparation, development of collateral and coaching activities.
  • Support corporate communications in developing social media campaigns around key pursuits, key staff, projects and awards and presentations.
  • Understand our competitors' capabilities and assists in devising plans to position the company to be successful in pursuits aligned with our capabilities.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive client account strategies to produce winning results.
  • Support public involvement and outreach material for active projects.
  • Assist in technical graphics and maps for active projects.
  • Format technical reports and documents for active projects.
  • Assist in maintaining a CRM database of key client contact information, competitor capabilities and commercial competitiveness.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • 4-year degree in Marketing, English, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts or related field and 15+ years of related work experience.
  • Strong facilitation, leadership, and communication skills to lead capture teams through the pursuit lifecycle.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills (ability to write executive summaries, cover letters and other non-technical sections.
  • Proficient in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Required to work on multiple assignments, with overlapping schedules, and needs to be able to multi-task and delegate responsibilities to team members to accomplish all tasks.

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
