Job description

Customer Service Representative – Call Center

LOCATION: Cary, NC | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $22.00/hour
• Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (8–12 weeks)
• Regular Schedule: 11:30 AM–8:00 PM with a required Saturday approximately every 3–4 months (9:00 AM–6:00 PM) and one weekday off during that week

ROLE IMPACT: As the primary point of contact for patients, you will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting timely medication fulfillment. Success in this role means providing accurate information, coordinating prescription deliveries, and ensuring patients receive the support they need while maintaining efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
• Answer inbound and place outbound calls to schedule medication deliveries, process payments, and update customer account information.
• Respond to prescription status, billing, insurance, and general account inquiries or route calls to the appropriate team for timely resolution.
• Document accurate progress notes to support seamless communication across operational teams.
• Assist patients with refill scheduling, escalate clinical questions to pharmacists or nurses, and report adverse events or product complaints according to established procedures.
• Perform additional customer support duties as assigned based on team or program needs.

Minimum Qualifications
• At least 1 year of recent heavy inbound call center experience required.

• Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician / Trainee.
• Strong customer service, communication, documentation, and data entry skills with the ability to manage high call volumes.
• Ability to work the required schedule, including occasional Saturdays, and meet performance metrics.
