Job Responsibilities:

  • 13 weeks liquidity planning for BST NA.
  • Prepare monthly inventory reporting and reconcile quantities (SAP to external warehouse).
  • Plan and forecast inventory, FTE's, CAPEX, and costs together with Plant Management.
  • Responsible for the input in Corporate Planner.
  • Prepare investment calculations and manage approval processes.
  • Monthly reconciliations of bank statements with General Ledger.
  • Maintain and monitor monthly analysis that supports the year-end audit such as the general ledger and account reconciliations.
  • Provide other analysis and requests for information as directed by the Head of Finance & Controlling BST NA.
  • Reconcile statements from vendors/customers to ensure that all payables/receivables are accurate and up to date.
  • Manage and reconcile collections of scrap and 2A material.
  • Preparation and assistance with the monthly accounting closing schedule.
  • Analyze entries and reporting for correct functional area, movement type, and intercompany assignment to assure correct reporting.
  • Review of the trial balance and related schedules.
  • Provide tax support.
  • Preparation and posting of needed journal entries.
  • Month and year end closing involvement.
  • Manage proper cost accounting of manufacturing activities and products.
  • General Ledger Review.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin or like discipline - or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional accounting certifications desired.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in accounting or related area.
  • CAPEX accounting and investment calculation experiences preferred.
  • Experience with SAP FI/CO/MM preferred.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Cost of Sales knowledge.
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively use excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to maintain an effective working relationship with local as well as international colleagues.
