Barbaricum is seeking a Training Director II (Training and Development Manager) to lead the development and execution of cyber training programs supporting Department of Defense (DoD) missions. The selected candidate will oversee training initiatives within cyber range and computer test bed environments, ensuring the delivery of realistic, mission-focused training that enhances operational readiness and workforce development.

The Training Director will collaborate with leadership, subject matter experts, and operational stakeholders to identify training requirements, develop curricula, and manage Army and Joint cyber training events. The successful candidate will provide leadership for training teams, integrate emerging technologies into training scenarios, and ensure training programs effectively support mission objectives and organizational goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, development, coordination, and execution of cyber training programs supporting Department of Defense (DoD) mission requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop effective training strategies, curricula, and exercise objectives.
  • Manage and oversee cyber range and computer test bed training activities, ensuring realistic and mission-focused training environments.
  • Direct the design, implementation, and evaluation of Army and Joint cyber training events, exercises, and professional development programs.
  • Supervise training personnel and provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure successful program execution and continuous improvement.
  • Integrate IT, networking, cellular, and operational technologies into training scenarios to enhance training effectiveness and mission realism.
  • Monitor training program performance, assess outcomes, and implement improvements based on participant feedback and mission requirements.
  • Coordinate resources, schedules, and logistics necessary to support training events and exercise execution.
  • Develop training documentation, reports, briefings, and performance metrics for leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Ensure training programs align with applicable DoD policies, cybersecurity requirements, and organizational objectives.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements.
  • Minimum 5yrs experience in cyber range or computer test bed environments.
  • Minimum 5yrs of supervising experience.
  • Minimum 2yrs experience conducting Army and Joint Cyber Training.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with the leadership team and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create effective training objectives.
  • Working knowledge of OT/IT technologies, cellular systems, networking, and IT management and implementation for training scenarios.
