Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Candy Maker to join our team. As a Candy Maker, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing candies. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity in the food industry. Part-time and full-time positions available


Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook various types of candies, including hard candies, chocolates, caramels, and truffles
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate candy-making equipment, such as stoves, mixers, and molds
- Monitor cooking temperatures and adjust as needed
- Decorate candies using various techniques, such as dipping, drizzling, or piping
- Package finished candies in an attractive and hygienic manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the candy-making area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production


Requirements:
- Previous experience in a culinary or food production role, preferably in cake decorating, pastry, or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of candy-making techniques and recipes
- Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen tools

We are a candy shop, ice cream parlor and gift shop in the Lakes Region. We make our ice cream and chocolates on site. Our staff is friendly and hard working. And we work hard to a make sure our staff have a best experiences at Kellerhaus. We have been a family tradition for the lakes region for 120 years.
