Job Summary/Description:

Gray Digital Media is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director, Digital Campaign Operations to lead and oversee our digital media execution teams across Programmatic, Paid Search, Paid Social, Streaming TV, and Managed Platform operations. This leadership role will focus on campaign execution strategy, media buying operations, vendor partnerships, operational efficiency, and performance optimization across Gray’s national digital footprint. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep expertise in digital advertising operations, media buying platforms, team development, and process improvement within a fast-paced media environment.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Lead and oversee Gray Digital Media’s campaign operations teams across Programmatic, Paid Search, Paid Social, Streaming TV, and Managed Platform operations
- Develop scalable workflows, operational processes, and execution strategies to improve campaign performance, efficiency, and client results
- Establish operational standards, quality assurance procedures, and best practices across campaign fulfillment teams
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and Leadership teams to align operational strategy with revenue growth initiatives
- Oversee media buying strategy and execution across DSPs, search, and social platforms, and manage digital products
- Monitor campaign pacing, optimization strategies, performance metrics, and operational KPIs to ensure campaign success
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, platform partners, and technology providers
- Evaluate and implement new operational tools, platform capabilities, and workflow improvements to enhance campaign execution and scalability
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing campaign operations and media execution teams
- Assist in training initiatives, operational documentation, and process improvements across departments
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment focused on operational excellence and client success
- Provide leadership during high-volume campaign periods while maintaining execution quality and operational efficiency

Qualifications/Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in digital media, campaign operations, programmatic buying, paid media, or advertising operations
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing digital media or campaign execution teams
- Strong expertise across Programmatic, Streaming TV/CTV, Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Video, Audio, Native, and Omnichannel advertising
- Deep working knowledge of DSPs, media buying platforms, and digital advertising ecosystems
- Proven ability to build operational workflows, improve processes, and manage vendor relationships
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills within a fast-paced environment
- Experience with campaign tracking, analytics, attribution, pixel implementation, and performance reporting preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving operational excellence and team performance
