Job description

Job Title: Campaign Operations Specialist (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Location: 3 days onsite at Chicago Illinois 60606
Duration: 6+ months contract with possible extension
Pay Range: $32/ - $38/hr. on W2
Client is open to candidates with as little as 6 months of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) experience, including internship experience, as long as they have hands-on exposure to campaign execution and marketing automation. We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused professional to join our marketing operations team, responsible for planning, building, testing, and deploying digital marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) across email, SMS, and push channels.
Responsibilities
  • Build, test, and deploy marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Work within Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio to execute campaigns and automated workflows
  • Develop and optimize customer journeys to ensure seamless customer communication
  • Implement dynamic content, AMPscript, and personalization strategies to improve engagement
  • Perform campaign QA/testing to ensure accuracy, functionality, and timely delivery
  • Monitor campaign performance and troubleshoot issues related to delivery, data, or personalization
  • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and data teams to ensure accurate campaign setup and execution
  • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign execution, or CRM marketing
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and customer journey orchestration
  • Experience with AMPscript, dynamic content, and personalization techniques
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development and troubleshooting
