Job description

About the Role
Epiphany School seeks a strategic, collaborative, and relationship-focused Campaign Manager to join our team for the life of the Capital Campaign. The Campaign Manager plays a key role in advancing Epiphany School's fundraising and donor engagement strategy, with primary responsibility for managing the day-to-day execution of the school's Capital Campaign. This position partners closely with the Head of School, Director of Development, Advancement team, and campaign volunteers to ensure a well-coordinated, strategic, and donor-centered campaign.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented advancement professional with strong project management skills, experience managing fundraising volunteers, sound fundraising judgment, and a passion for education. The Campaign Manager brings a collaborative, service-oriented approach to donor relations and is adept at managing complex logistics, data, and communications while delivering exceptional donor experiences aligned with Epiphany School's mission and values.
This is a full-time, exempt, year-round administrator position reporting to the Director of Development.
Location & Schedule
This is an on-campus position located in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. Evening and weekend work is required, including donor meetings, campaign events, and committee meetings. Local travel may be required.
Standard school operating hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Weekly staff meetings are held on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
What You'll Do
Campaign Strategy & Management
  • Partner with the Head of School, Director of Development, Advancement team, and Campaign Committee to manage and track all moves made with prospects in the campaign pipeline.
  • Manage the campaign operating plan, timelines, and internal coordination to track progress toward campaign goals.
  • Coordinate day-to-day campaign operations, including scheduling, logistics, materials preparation, and follow-up.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and supporting documentation for Campaign Committee meetings.
  • Support campaign volunteers with all stages of their portfolio work and post-meeting follow-up, including stewardship actions and database updates.

Donor Relations & Stewardship
  • Manage a comprehensive campaign donor stewardship program that ensures timely, personal, and meaningful recognition.
  • Oversee campaign gift documentation, pledge tracking, and acknowledgment processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage donor recognition preferences and execute recognition initiatives, including donor plaques, named spaces, and donor reports.
  • Schedule and coordinate donor meetings with school leadership, Advancement staff, and campaign volunteers.

Events & Donor Engagement
  • Plan and execute small campaign-related events and donor touchpoints.
  • Coordinate large-scale campaign events, including donor receptions and school-wide celebrations, in partnership with Advancement colleagues.
  • Support event logistics, registration, volunteer coordination, and post-event follow-up as needed.

Data, Reporting & Prospect Research
  • Track and manage campaign moves management activity using Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT.
  • Prepare and organize pledge forms and monitor campaign gifts and commitments.
  • Produce regular campaign progress and status reports for Advancement leadership, the Board of Trustees, and campaign committees.
  • Conduct prospect research and prepare donor and prospect profiles for staff and volunteer use.
  • Support foundation requests and proposals related to campaign priorities.

Communications & Collaboration
  • Contribute to the development and production of campaign communications materials in partnership with the Development and Marketing teams.
  • Prepare confidential Board and committee reports and presentations as needed.
  • Collaborate with members of the Development Office to support department-wide initiatives, events, and strategic priorities.

Typical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in development, advancement, or a related field ideally with experience in a Capital Campaign.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with donors, volunteers, senior leadership, and trustees.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and occasional evening or weekend work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace required.
  • Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT strongly preferred.
  • High level of integrity and demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $100,000 based on years of experience, education, and internal equity.
Alongside salary, Epiphany School offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
