Blitz Acquisitions is seeking an Entry-Level Events & Promotions Assistant to join our client's leading Grand Rapids area marketing events planning firm. Blitz Acquisitions specializes in the creation of retail brand experiences for product launches and brand promotions. As an Entry-Level Promotions Assistant with our client, you will play an integral role in the Marketing Events Planning Division, working with innovative, goal-oriented, fun individuals to execute campaigns that are faithful to the client's brand and beneficial to the consumer.
The Entry Level Promotions Assistant will be working on projects that are directly partnered with several of the largest retailers in North America. These promotions utilize a unique approach to marketing and advertising that create a positive image and brand relationship for clients while also generating a more significant market share in their respective industries. Over the past year, this firm's client list has doubled, which is why they need a new Entry Level Promotions Assistant to meet campaign demands.
To meet the increasing marketing and advertising needs of existing clients, the Entry Level Promotions Assistant will be trained in all areas of the campaign and establish areas of expertise. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Proactively approach consumers in-store to promote our client's satellite TV services and act as a liaison between corporate clientele and retail consumers.
  • Traveling to retail locations throughout DFW will be a role requirement.
  • Create a positive brand experience by proactively approaching consumers and answering questions about services offered to enhance the visibility of our products.
  • Identify qualified prospects and close sales/subscriptions of client products to develop a viable customer base.
  • Listen to customer needs, overcome objections, and recommend service plans that best suit each customer.

Positions Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service environment is an asset
  • Positive, professional, goal-oriented.
  • Perceptive, articulate, excellent communication skills.
  • Creative, able to think outside the box.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • College degree preferred.
  • The Entry Level Promotions Assistant position is a full-time, permanent role, and our client offers a competitive hourly base plus performance bonuses.
