Job Summary
We are seeking Call Center Support Specialists for a temporary election-cycle assignment in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This onsite role supports a public sector election services environment where accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and strong customer service are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for call center, customer service, administrative, receptionist, or data entry professionals who enjoy helping the public and working in a structured, team-focused environment. The role offers meaningful community impact, clear procedures, supportive team collaboration, and the opportunity to contribute to an important election operation.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls while providing courteous and accurate information.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of inbound calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Assist callers with voter registration, election dates, voting methods, vote-by-mail, polling locations, precinct information, and related services.
- Research voter records using designated systems and provide accurate information based on established procedures.
- Enter, update, verify, and maintain data accurately in computer systems.
- Document caller interactions and provide clerical support to the voter services team.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling voter, public, and election-related information.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $22.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: 100 percent onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Additional availability required for extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the election cycle as operational needs increase.
- Assignment end date: November 9, 2026.
- Start date: ASAP after successful completion of all required pre-employment clearances and confirmation of official start date.
- Business casual attire required.
