Receptionist Responsibilities:
  • Answer multi-line telephone and direct calls to appropriate personnel and take accurate messages.
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service. Create a positive experience for patients through professional and courteous behavior.
  • Maintain knowledge of Bloom's departments and daily schedules.
  • Use an EMR to look up patients and verify identity
  • Respect diversity in the workplace.
  • Assist with some administrative tasks
  • Work in a fast paced environment

Receptionist Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent phone/customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task at a very high level
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with EMR software a plus (eCW preferred)
