Torch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated professional to serve as the 53rd Wing Commander's Action Group (CAG) Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the Command's strategic priorities and synchronizing those efforts across the Wing's Special Staff. This position supports the 53rd Wing Commander's Headquarters at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

As a Commander's Action Group (CAG) Representative, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and coordinating strategic products for use by the command team in communications with higher and peer headquarters, as well as subordinate elements, to meet the Wing's mission.

  • Facilitating and framing issues, scheduling, and following up on actions and suspense's for the Command Section.

  • Developing and recommending wing-level procedures that implement DoW, Headquarters Air Force (HAF), and supported MAJCOM direction, concepts, and procedures for projects and programs.

  • Identifying problems, recommending solutions, and implementing changes in policies and procedures to increase organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Serving on staff and cross-enterprise-level teams and/or working groups to shape initiatives, assess feasibility, and evaluate progress toward the accomplishment of goals or resolution of issues.

  • Supporting the Wing staff in the planning and execution of Distinguished Visitor (DV) events.

  • Serving as the Wing's Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) for briefing requirements, formats, and document templates.

  • Researching and developing routine briefings and specialized presentations for the command section to present at military, industry, congressional, state, and local forums.

  • Obtaining necessary background information and data to ensure complete coverage of Wing Commander special interest items.

  • Executing leadership intent and driving tasks to completion with minimal oversight.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 5-8 years of experience as an Operations Analyst.

  • Must be a highly motivated individual with experience as a military commissioned officer (O-3 or higher), or senior Staff Non-Commissioned Officer (E-7 or higher) possessing aviation organizational and staff-level experience.

  • Specific Work Experience: served on a General/Flag Officer's Staff.

  • Familiarity with Distinguished Visitor (DV) protocols and event setup.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Rank of O-4 (Major / Lieutenant Commander) or higher.

  • Attendance at Command and Staff College, with three or more years of experience serving at the operational level (General/Flag Officer's Staff).

  • Experience working with all administrative functions of the staff (Admin, Public Affairs, JAG, and Protocol).

  • Familiarity with USAF test policy and aviation operations.

  • A strong understanding of military organizational duties and responsibilities, with a proven ability to facilitate the commander's intent and enable / support the staff.
