Operations Analyst โ€“ CNRMC CAG Engineering Support
Location: On-site, Norfolk, VA
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required
Overview:
Invictus Assoc., LLC has an immediate opening for an experienced Operations Analyst to support high-level strategic initiatives for the Commander, Naval Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC) and the Executive Director at CNRMC Headquarters. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of Navy surface ship maintenance, modernization, and operational readiness such as a former Engineering Duty Officer (EDO), former engineering Limited Duty Officer (LDO), or former engineering Chief Warrant Officer (CWO). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating operational activities, strategic planning, and executing command priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to Flag Officers and Senior Executive Service (SES) leaders, ensuring timely execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Plan, track, and manage critical projects related to fleet maintenance, operational readiness, and modernization efforts.
  • Supervise and coordinate the response to external stakeholder communications, including Congressional, SECNAV, CNO, GAO, and DoD IG inquiries.
  • Develop policies, strategies, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency across CNRMC and Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs).
  • Analyze and present complex operational data using charts, graphs, and strategic reports for NAVSEA leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment with command objectives and operational priorities.
  • Lead and coordinate command-level meetings, including staff stand-ups, leadership calls, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Support the execution of wartime readiness exercises and contingency planning efforts.

Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of Navy maintenance and modernization programs, RMC operations, and NAVSEA policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Flag-level and SES leadership.
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating complex projects in high-paced operational environments.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Previous experience with NAVSEA, RMCs, or Navy Warfare Centers (WCs).
  • 5+ years of Experience as an Engineering Duty Officer (EDO), Limited Duty Officer (LDO) or Chief Warrant Officer CWO) with expertise in surface ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM amp;E) Systems
