This position supports enterprise-level strategic initiatives across the Navy’s surface ship maintenance community and is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep knowledge of Navy maintenance, readiness, and operational planning.
The successful candidate will serve as a key integrator and advisor, enabling the Executive Director to effectively oversee operational priorities, synchronize efforts across Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs), and engage with senior Navy and DoD leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track high-visibility projects related to fleet maintenance, readiness, and modernization across the RMC enterprise.
  • Manage and synchronize tasking and correspondence for senior-level engagements, including responses to Congressional, SECNAV, CNO, GAO, and DoD IG inquiries.
  • Develop and refine policies, processes, and strategic initiatives to improve maintenance planning, execution, and enterprise performance.
  • Analyze complex operational and readiness data; develop clear, executive-level products including briefs, dashboards, and decision-support materials.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination across NAVSEA, TYCOMs, RMCs, and other stakeholders to ensure unity of effort.
  • Plan and execute senior leader engagements, including executive-level briefings, staff syncs, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Support contingency planning, surge operations, and readiness initiatives as directed by the Executive Director.

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting Navy or DoD operations, maintenance, or readiness organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Navy surface ship maintenance, RMC operations, and NAVSEA enterprise processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in direct support of Flag Officer and/or SES-level leadership.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including development of executive-level briefings and written products.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex efforts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting CNRMC, NAVSEA, TYCOMs, or other Navy maintenance organizations.
  • Familiarity with Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), readiness metrics, and maintenance performance analytics.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing executive-level products for senior Navy leadership forums.
