About the Position

The Café Service Associate supports daily café operations by preparing beverages and food, assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining established standards for cleanliness, safety, and food handling.

This position requires someone who can remain productive and customer-focused while working in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, sandwiches, and other café products using established recipes and procedures
  • Provide prompt, courteous service and assist customers with their orders
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately complete cash and other payment transactions
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns in a professional and helpful manner
  • Maintain proper food preparation, handling, and sanitation practices
  • Clean and organize workstations, equipment, service areas, and other assigned areas throughout the shift
  • Follow company procedures for the safe operation of café equipment
  • Help maintain appropriate product levels and an organized work area
  • Work with other team members to keep service moving efficiently during busy periods
  • Participate in company promotions and café initiatives
  • Accept direction, coaching, and training from café leadership
  • Perform other operational responsibilities as directed by the Café Manager or other members of management
